Have your parent(s) read the math message on the Parent's Page and make them leave a comment to show that they have been there.
These students, as far as I can see, have completed the homework for Monday. Many people have been on to comment or leave their post but here is a list of those who have posted an article. (If I missed you, let me know.) Maddy, Maggie, Ethan, Kiana, Maya, Lucas, Olivia, Tessa, Camilo (partial post), Kylie, Jacqueline, Charlotte, Bella and Claire. That's 14 out of 30. The other part of this blog was getting long so I posted this new section. You can work here or in the existing Topic Investigation post. http://www.ptable.com/
Here is a link to an interactive periodic table that can help with the science homework. Begin to explore what culture and connected religion you would like to gather information on.
For this weekends homework, find an article that is less than two years old that mentions religion and culture as part of its story. For example, a clash in the Middle East between two people groups. Or an island like Bali where the ruling class don't always get along with all of the other islanders. There are many many example. Follow this assignment, use the guidelines for current events found on the "Current Events Instructions" page. The reward for everyone being on the blog at least once is that Juno can come to school for the day. The current events assignment is due by Monday morning at 9 am. If you do not have access to a computer, follow the instructions I gave you in class.
If you are unclear about how the assignment should be written or how it will be marked, there is a page on this website with full instructions called "Current Events Instructions". This week's topic is an open topic. We talked about many possible topics in class. Hopefully, you remembered to take notes. To Herzkemire and Belcourt, I deeply apologize for my tardiness. Don't forget, part of your assignment is to read one or two of the other posts and make a comment about another student's post. Ah, our first homework assignment. Who will be the first to use the blog?
